Aurelio Valdez is a Mexican-American Hip Hop artist, film photographer and educator based out of Seattle

Washington. 

Raised by immigrant parents from

Zacatecas, Mexico.

Aurelio’s art is rooted in his personal experiences and traumas, how they intersection with his cultural heritage, and a deep commitment to social change and within ourselves.

As an artist, Aurelio believes in the transformative power of art to inspire change. Whether through his lens or his music, his work challenges societal narratives, highlights resilience, and amplifies the beauty and strength of communities often left unseen.

Drawing from his background in the social sciences and his work with underserved communities, organizing, teaching, learning allowing for artistry to be a powerful stories that shape his world.
